Since 1988, CAPER's Annual Census has recorded the full national picture of postgraduate medical trainees — by specialty, faculty, province, and more.
The Annual Census is CAPER's foundational dataset. Each edition counts the residents and fellows training across Canada's 17 faculties of medicine, broken out across more than a dozen dimensions. In the redesign, the census tables become searchable, filterable web pages — no more digging through PDFs.
